Pattern:  Strip pieced, cut into equilateral triangle templates, sewn together, re-cut into trapezoid templates and inserted into an isometric grid using thin black slashing.  The base is strip pieced, cut on bias, and re-assembled.  The top corner is comprised of a flaming sun. 
Fabric:  mostly commercial prints
Backing: black cotton 
Batting:  cotton
Machine quilted by the artist following the grid where it exists and otherwise improvised.
